Hello!
My name is Trisha and I make nice things.
I grew up in Manila, Philippines, with two very techie parents who thought it was a good idea to introduce Flash, the Corel Suite, and FrontPage as playthings to an 11-year-old. These childhood hobbies, tempered through teenage years of creating games, graphics and websites for other people just for fun, locked in my decision to pursue design for a career.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Old Dominion University in the USA with a BFA in Graphic Design, then worked for a bit as a designer for print and digital at Sway, with previous experiences as a creative intern for Vinylmint and Grow. I moved back to the Philippines after a year, shifting over to the advertising side of things as a designer for BBDO Guerrero.
Ultimately, I want to help people with what I could do, especially after being involved with organizations like Code for America, which opened my eyes to what technology and design could accomplish. Side projects, video games, volunteer work, and the occasional travel keep me happy and busy.
